Chronic homelessness is a definitive social problem in modern-day America. The community treatment most widely recommended for chronic homelessness in recent years is Assertive Community Treatment, which provides treatment for mental disorders, as well as rehabilitation and support services. The basic goal of Assertive Community Treatment is to produce a self-sustaining human being capable of functionality in all aspects of daily living. I see great potential in the application of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to Assertive Community Treatment programs because it directly promotes the aims of various aspects of Assertive Community Treatment….Any thoughts?
