Duke University Medical Center - Rhonda Merwin (ACT/ACT processes/Behavioral/FC; PhD/non-degree; USA)
This ACT-based research and treatment program is available to PhD students at Duke University, Psychiatry Residents and Clinical Psychology Interns at Duke University Medical Center, and individuals seeking clinical research experience in preparation for graduate school (as paid research assistants or volunteers). Current research projects include: Development and testing of ACT-based interventions for anorexia nervosa, ACT for fibromyalgia syndrome, and processes of eating disorder development among individuals with type 1 diabetes (ACT-informed). This latter project is an R01 funded by NIH. Clinical training is available in didactics, an ACT-based practica, and individual and group supervision (depending on type of trainee).
