Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know of any studies evaluating ACT for cardiac rehab patients? Or, is anyone using ACT/ similar approaches in this context?

Got a call from a mother of a middle school child wanting to know how to incorporate ACT principles and strategies into her sons' Individualized Education Plan. He's qualified under Social/Emotional issues. I thought this was an interesting question. I consult on IEPs all the time and can't really do anything BUT ACT, but I've never really thought about it much from a larger vantage point of educational systems or ACT theory. Does anyone out there have any experience with and/or ideas about this? Let's talk.

I am looking for other ACBS members who are interested in a SIG, list serve, or forum devoted to the discussion of ACT/RFT etc. in the clinical practice of pain medicine.  Any takers?

Does anyone know of any resources on conceptualizing existential angst and other existential issues from an ACT framework?
