Paypal Donations?

I wondered if it would be possible/beneficial to incorporate a Paypal-type donation button into the website? I know a number of free sites that provide excellent services have these built in, as most of the good work they do (similar to this site) is undertaken by unpaid individuals, in their spare time. I know we pay for ACBS membership, but considering the extent of the resources on this site, the effort that goes into maintaining it, and it’s general usefulness, I would venture that people would be willing to donate a couple of bucks/pounds/euros/yen etc. when feeling altruistic or in a particularly good mood ...

Some of us, particularly those who were born in the first half of the last century, still make all of our tax deductible donations by mail. Is this option feasible for ACBS members? If so, we would need a mailing address somewhere on the web site. Thank you.

donations to ACBS

Hi Tony! We have the address on the site, but you're right, it's not at the bottom of the site. I'll try to correct that tomorrow. One thing to note, after going back & forth with the IRS, even though we do some charitable type things (like the 3rd world training fund), as of now, payments/donations to ACBS are only tax deductible as professional expenses (if you itemize, and are a psych. professional). They are not tax deductible like donations to a charity like the Red Cross. If you want to verify with your accountant, ACBS is incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)6. (Churches and the Red Cross are 501(c)3, which are charities, in case that helps.)

We still welcome donations of course, and our address is:
ACBS
42398 Haltom Rd.
Hammond, LA 70403
USA

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Emily
