ACT/CBS Background and Training: I am a UK based Chartered Clinical Psychologist, a charter / founding member of ACBS, and a Fellow of the organisation. In 2011 I passed the peer review process to become a member of the ACT training community. In November 2011 I was appointed by the ACBS Board as Chair of the ACBS Training Committee and served in that role until July 2015. I have served on the Conference Strategy Committee, the Competency and Dissemination Pillar and have been President and Past President of the UK & ROI Chapter of ACBS. I was elected as Treasurer / Secretary of the ACBS Board in October 2023.
I currently train and supervise others in ACT, and lead a programme of research and teaching work at the University of Edinburgh.
